 Hastings
Utilities is a customer owned utility system serving
the community of Hastings and area customers including
Juniata, with reliable and dependable service. Many
customers receive the four essential utility services from
Hastings Utilities- electricity, natural gas, water and
sanitary sewer. Hastings Utilities strives to provide
services of superior value at a competitive, affordable
cost. Hastings is a community of nearly 25 thousand
residents located in south central Nebraska.

The
City of Hastings has been awarded $109,900 of funding from
the Federal Stimulus Program. in Hastings, the monies will
be used to install LED (Light Emitting Diode) traffic signal
bulbs, LED streetlamps, and to convert higher usage mercury
vapor streetlamps to more energy efficient high pressure
sodium streetlamps. The LED
streetlamps will be installed at a variety of locations
